My Story

In 1984 I opened my own model and talent agency and in an effort to create opportunities for my
fashion models I approached a local shopping center that had just opened and was hired to coordinate their fashion events. The shopping center marketing director was Linnette Salley for Simon Malls and at that time I had no idea what a mentor she would become for me. I went on to produce fashion shows for her, as well as creating the Fashion Board concept.

Both the modeling agency and Linnette are gone, but I still
create and produce fashion shows for regional shopping centers two decades later. The Fashion Board has created an outstanding legacy of former and current Fashion Board members who have launched international modeling careers and many others who have appeared in national print, television commercials television shows and films.

From those early experiences Claire Queisser Runway Events was born. I am especially proud of the Fashion shows that have raised substantial funds for many charitable organizations and continue to do so. I have worked with many Fashion Weeks, the bridal industry, local, national and international designers.

Finally, I am grateful and aware that for those who walk in the shows, whether a supermodel or a breast cancer survivor.... child or adult, beginner or pro.... the runway instills confidence and empowers those that walk them. To quote Coco Chanel “The world is your runway.”
